The Shoei RF-1400 Solid: a wind-tunnel-tuned full-face helmet for riders with an intermediate-oval head, with a Pinlock EVO lens included.
The RF-1400 is an intermediate-oval helmet in five shell sizes, with cheek pads that can be swapped to fine-tune fit. Sizing is by head circumference, and the right size still has to be tried on.
A good fit if you want a street or sport-touring helmet that is quiet and well ventilated.

Is the Solid the same helmet as other RF-1400s?
Yes. The paint is different; the shell, liner, vents and shield are the same RF-1400.
Does it come with a Pinlock lens?
Yes. A Pinlock EVO lens is included with the CWR-F2 shield.
How loud is it?
Shoei designed the shape in a wind tunnel for lower noise, and everyone’s ears and bikes differ. Try it on at our shop and ask us how it compares.
How do I choose a size?
Measure your head circumference above the eyebrows and ears, then come in so we can check the fit in person. It is free.
Do you ship outside Virginia?
Online orders ship to Virginia addresses. Anywhere else, call the shop.
