The Alpinestars GP Plus R v4 Rideknit: a race-derived leather jacket that flexes with your body, in a sport fit with pre-curved arms.

What the features mean on the road

• 1.3 mm race-grade leather: abrasion resistance with comfort.
• Rideknit and A-CS Plus stretch panels: torso, underarm, inner-arm and neck panels. Why it matters: leather that does not fight you in the riding position.
• Sport fit with pre-curved arms: built for an aggressive tuck.
• Dual-density DFS shoulders and GP Lite elbow armor: impact protection and friction control where falls hit first.
• Airbag-ready: built to accept Alpinestars' Tech-Air system (airbag sold separately). Alpinestars says Tech-Air 5 reduces impact force by up to 93% compared with a CE-certified passive protector.

Fit and sizing

A sport fit: pre-curved arms and a body-mapped cut. Try it in the riding position. We will help with sizing.

A good fit if you ride sport and want a leather jacket that moves.
Look elsewhere if you ride in heat or want a casual cut: see the T-GP Plus R v4 Airflow.

Protection and certification

• CE Category II, EN 17092-3:2020, class AA riding garment.
